Are you a Turnip? Perhaps you’ve never asked yourself the question. Perhaps you have, but have been too afraid to find out the answer. Be bold. Face facts. If you’ve read this far, you are almost definitely a Turnip. Turnips aren’t Swedes. We may try to look like them, try to speak like them, try to live amongst them, but, stumbling over å, ä and ö, we pine for a 26 letter alphabet. Our kisses on cheeks and handshakes are ignored as we are engulfed in Swedish bear hugs.... and we still forget to take our shoes off when we visit someone’s house.
